Yes I have stayed at Aneka three times and loved it each time, it is not a big hotel. The rooms are comfortable - being older and wanting privacy and quiet we paid the extra for bungalows but met many people who were happy with the standard rooms. Aneka gets repeat bookings from a loyal clientelle. It is ideally situated on Poppies Lane 1 5 minutes from the beach along a private driveway. Out of the side door you are on Poppies Gang and plenty of shops and restaurants. It is close to markets and Mata Hari etc. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Try the Nusa Indah for top class cheap meals. TJs for atmosphere and Mexican food and don't miss Black Rice Pudding at Poppies. I don't like reccomending hotels but I think Aneka is a really good medium to low price hotel. In short it is a little gem.
