I spent 2 weeks at Puri Raja in March and I am returning there in June. I highly recommend it. It is not an overly huge hotel therefore making the atmosphere very friendly. It has just been freshly painted and has beautiful gardens. It has 2 swimming pools, one with a swim up bar. It has all the usual facilities, a/c, fridge, 24 hour room service, massage etc. My mum has stayed there 7 times. The location is great because it is not too far out of things and it is beachfront. Transport would be needed to get to the centre of Kuta nightlife but this is inexpensive.
