We stayed one night at the Grand Hyatt and did not really like it. All the hotels on Nusa Dua are very large complexes with no charm, quiet or culture. It felt like a big hotel. We moved to the Ritz Carlton for the same amount of money and loved it!!
As for golf, we played two times. Once in the Bali Handari course up north. It was nice, but not even close to as nice as some make it out to be. The course is in bad condition and is kind of bland. That round cost $100. Next we played at the Nirwana course near Tannah Lot. This course was incredible!!! Beautiful layout right along the ocean with very momorable holes. It cost about $80. If you are into golf, it may be worth trying to stay at the resort for a night or two which will give you a discount on golf. The resort looked very nice too!!
