Bali has so much to offer that i would have to type all day to tell you all about it. Best thing to do when you're travelling on a budget, and you wanna know about the best deals on accomodation and restaurants etc. is to buy the bali/lombok LONELY PLANET travellers' guide. It's got it all. The things to do, the accomodation, the restaurants, places to avoid etc. You just can't do without. I've just bought the last edition ( Februari '99) myself, since I am going to Bali in a couple of weeks myself, and it is definately a must have book. It's probably more than that. It's 'the bible for travellers.
