I think the main message is that Balinese ceremonies are not for sale. Here is a posting I sent last year to a man and his wife who wanted to have a second wedding in Bali. (They did, by the way, make some personal connections and were able to have a small ceremony arranged for him by a community there!)

A few years ago Mick Jagger and his wife were married on a boat in a traditional Balinese ceremony, and I want you to know this was, and still is, a matter of intense debate among Balinese. There are some who feel it is an outrage, and others who are only too happy to bestow blessings on non-Balinese. My guess is that to find someone to help you through the impersonal medium of the internet is futile. Balinese hinduism is very community oriented, and decisions like this must be made by the entire group involved. You will need to ask the Balinese community where you will be staying if they are willing to invite you into their sacred areas. If it happens for you, great! But if you havent made the personal connections needed for a traditional ceremony, bali is magical enough on it's own. You'll feel blessed just being there!
