There are several books available on culture, ceremonies, festivals, rituals, etc. To answer your Q's accurately, would require some lengthy input, even then their culture & customs are sooo complex it would hardly be covered adequately, and to tell you the truth I can't be bothered & I get the feeling others can't either. Although I sense sincerity in your asking. So ......Buy a book!! (Your best source though, would be the Balinese themselves).
