I visited a travel Health centre yesterday for our trip to Bali in July, and the Doctor advised no need to take anti-malarial if we were staying in the tourist areas, and not travelling to any islands. Shje did say to protect against mossies, as Dengue Fever is around. Hope this helps - we aren't taking any anti-malariasl, but we did have Hep A shots.
