If you can get your hands on more than the amount that you are allowed to bring in, then you are either a very lucky or foolish man, depending on your outlook. You have either amassing these things for some time, and if so why, or you might have some dodgy friends who wish to off load them. Currently nobody I know is hanging on to Rupiah notes unless they have got stuck with the odd one, no... they are for spending and so I doubt you will be able to inadvertently take more than you are allowed. For the record, I don't know exactly how many you are allowed! But I think it's enough to pay for a SMALL round of drinks... about 30,000rp? Anyone else know?
