I have never had a problem with the money changers. I am cautious especailly after reading forum this year. I always have counted my money last but then the changers always suggest you do. I think maybne if you go to some seedy place top change money there maybe a riup off scheme but I didn't see any this year or prior and none of the 9 of us traveling together had a bad experience
