Banana Leaf picture frames etc are a NO NO
Bamboo Windchimes can be a NO NO As with anything bamboo look for small pin holes in the bamboo ie bug holes.
Sealed spices and bumbu paste are OK
Bee-bee (plastic toy gums) guns HUGE NO NO (I got a letter from AU customs telling me that if I get it modified by a licencsed gunsmith and apply for a pistol license I can have it back...excuse me it's a plastic gun, but that's my problem to sort out).
Small quantities of 'fake' Cd, PSX, watches etc don't seem to be a problem.
ALso heard that Darwin customs are the toughest (been through there once and they took everything I declared)
