Iwas there in Dec. 98 and found the hotel to be great. Close walking distance to Matahari shopping centre and excellent shops right outside the Bungalows. Room and grounds were beautiful and safe, safety deposit boxes available,also taxi into Legian Street, main street of Kuta only cost 2000 rupiah, about 40c Australian. The massage ladies at the hotel are the nicest Balinese people you could wish to meet and all the other staff were friendly and very helpful. Two second walk down to Kuta Beach where massages and beach markets can be found, also good surf. I recommend it highly.
