And here is another question (yes, the same Ben here again).
I've heard (back in 1991) of a palace in Kerambitan, north west of the Kuta-Tuban area, where tourists are occasionaly welcomed for a couple nights. A friend of mine had stayed there, and i still remember his description of his flying kites with the Sultan !
However, a search in the archives of the forum as well as on other sites makes me fear that it now has turned into a well organised hotel mainly catering to groups.
Has anyone been there, and could tell me about the spirit of the people running the place : are they making it the "authentic way" (you know like "feeling home away from home") or have they turned their business into a mass industry ?
Thanks in advance for your replies.
Ben
