Hello to you all Bali-addicts
I'll be in Bali in one week, and am looking for "new" remote and quiet places to stay at.
To be more specific, I remember the wonderful experience back in 1991 when I "discovered" the coastal road from Amplapura to Amed : very few tourists (if any), wonderful small fishermen villages... the only place to stay in Amed back then was the Pondok Vienna Beach Bungalows (not too sure about the exact name)... I saw last year that it has changed quite a bit since.
So, I would love to read from those of you who have found such great untouristy places.
