i stayed in this hotel called Cendana Cottages. they charged US$30 a nite without aircon. i was afraid of the moquitos initially but my fears were quelled as it is very cool at nite and there is a ceiling fan. i had a view that faces the rice fields.
it has a pool and is off the main road off monkey forest road which means it is rather quiet.
VERY relaxing,. the staff is also very friendly, watch out for this skinny guy called numan, quite a ladie's man.
