Well ...where do i start...we stayed at the Ramada Bintang hotel ,fantastic place....things i wouldnt do in bali are.....
Drink the water ...we used bottled water.
I wouldnt swim in the surf at Tuban or Kuta beaches.
dont get a temporary tattoo...they are not ink and can make some people very ill.
If you drink red wine take your own i took a cask of red and it was great,,,wine is very expensive...over there.
A friend if mine got robbed ,,he got surrounded by hawkers and his money belt was undone,,,he had it OUT SIDE of his shirt...silly man
we forgot touse a blue metered cab and got dummped in a alley,,,

We used the Kodak shops to change money they are very good ..with the other money changers ...the higher the rate ...the more likley u are to be ripped of...take your own calculator..
We got watches for 20,000 rp tshirts for 25,000...
Dont bring home the CLAM shells customs confiscate them ....
We used the ATM machines and found them to be ok....
Places to eat....Poppies,,,The Bounty..Poco Loco....really good food
Drink a glass of red cordial a day it helped when we ate some bad food...
