I had a lot of fun at the Sukawati markets.... bought paintings, batik, and lots of little wooden thingies, some to sell, some for myself. Another great place for shopping is the "back" road out of Ubud up to the top of the mountain.... I only came back down it by accident due to some road works on the more major road, and it was almost solid craft shops... where they do the actual work. I got things like those brightly painted wooden trays for about a quarter of what they were charging in Kuta.
