We talked to a health nurse at our public health clinic. She
was well informed of all the required vaccinations for all the
particular destinations. We are Canadians in British Columbia,
and I don't know if this service is provided everywhere, but
she was very helpful and was referred to us by our family
physician. She reccomended Hepatitis A, typhoid, and tetanus.
We got a flu shot for extra protection, and we are really
glad we did, because many people around us came down with the
flu and we came away unscathed by any illnesses. I also advise
taking a waterless handcleaner like Purell with you and washing
your hands often.
