It is not a luxurious accommodation but the rooms were comfortable with a single double/queen-sized bed, ceiling fan and portable fan. They were clean with 2 arm chairs and a coffee table that could be found in anyone's home. There was a regular-sized washbasin in the room in which we washed all our clothes and dried them with the portable fan at night and in the sunlight during the day (they have a drying rack available). The bathroom had a western-style toilet with a shower and also another faucet that drained onto the floor. We had a small porch in which we would sit outside and rest which looked into the small courtyard. We had bought Baygon mosquito coils in Kuta and used them at all our accommodations except Le Meridien. The beach is only a few steps away. We booked our dolphin tour through the homestay. Another couple was there with a baby probably only a year old. The family members who ran the homestay were very pleasant and made very good banana and pineapple fritters, fried noodles, pork dishes, and pancakes. Breakfast was included but since it was so cheap, we ordered more food. Most meals were about 20,000 rupiahs for two. It was pretty much as if we were family guests at their home. I am not sure what else there was to do since we were only there 1 night, however, there are hot springs and a Buddhist temple nearby that we did not have time to explore. Hope this helps.
