Allow 3.5 hrs to drive minimum. We stayed at Vienna beach Hotel in Feb. Grass cottages right on the ocean. 150,000 rp/ night for the cottage for 2, dinner and breakfast, and some good entertainment by a few locals. The snorkeling was just OK, but is right outside your door. The fish are beautiful, colorful and many many varieties. The water was a little couldy when we were there and the coral is brown, but the fish made up for it. Very quite there, no banks, or money changers, but nothing to buy anyway. Just go to relax and get out of the busy Kuta.
