$30 to $40 per day for a driver is way way too much. In a country where the average wage is $3.50 to $4.50 per day you should not be paying more than $25 tops for a driver . I have a great one. They, of course, supply the car and the gas as well. I pay my driver $18 per day. He also acts as an interpreter for me as well. Of course, I also bring him little gifts when I go back. When you pay them too much, it makes the cost of drivers go up for everyone.
