Thought I would let you know the latest on the Melasti Beach Resort. We booked (family of 5) 2 rooms, thinking we were staying at a hotel
with only 52 rooms, as we stayed at the Jayakarta last year and loved the area but found the hotel too big. Also the large rooms appealed to us, but after reading the forum about new additions and that the new rooms weren't nearly as good as the older ones tried to get it in writing to avoid any hassles on arriving. Have now been informed by the agent that we have to pay more to get these larger rooms, I think Melasti are now calling them Junior suites. I am now of the opinion to give Melasti up and go elsewhere to avoid any more problems can anyone please give me any idea within the vicinity of Jayakarta and Melasti(preferably on the beach) where else I can stay.
