I am a Taiwanese! The service for CAL is O.K. CAL is a half state-run company, so the management in the company is very BAD! Lots retired GENERAL in the high position in that company.
The problems with China Airlines (CAL)are their frequent crashes.
CAL has two major crashes in the recent 3 years! On in Nagoya-JAPAN, the other is a flight from BALI back to Taipei. The president of CENTRAL BANK OF TAIWAN and many high rank officers were killed in that accident (They were killed because the should take state-run airline).
Their record for CAL must be even worse than the airlines from the mainland
