All I can say is just do it - haggle that is....I have been in shops in Bali when people come in and don't play properly (I won't mention what nationality - actually it is all) and they clearly don't understand the game. Once you start PLEEEASE don't shout "WELL I CAN GET IT CHEAPER DOWN THE ROAD"
and then walk out, it offends everyone and achieves nothing, it can be a game enjoyed by all, we usually (westerners) end up paying slightly too much and the Balinese (usually) end up with slightly more in there pockets than they needed, but (usually if the game is played properly) everybody is happy, you, the westerner, have something cheaper than you could buy at home and the local Balinese are not left with a dissatisfied feeling. Win-Win situation, if only the rest of life could be so simple!! Don't try and get something for nothing - it will dissatisfy you in the end YOU WILL FEEL GUILTY!
