I took U.S. 100 dollar bills. But I'm not sure if I saved or if I lost on the double exchange. There is certainly no problem exchanging Canadian bills, they post the exchange rates for quite a few currencies outside most money exchanges. I paid my hotel charges and one other large purchase with visa and got a good rate from them. Just keep all your receipts and watch where you use a card. CREDIT CARD FRAUD can happen anywhere not just a third world country like Bali.
