We took our kids to bali this time last year and stayed in kuta and we are going back on the 7/3/99. We have always enjoyed the hustle and bustle of Kuta and the kids loved it too. We stayed at the Dynasty (actually in Tuban) last year, and are trying the Jayakarta 2 bedroom apartments for two weeks and back to the Dynasty for a week this year. The kids loved Waterbom park, and if they got sick of normal restaurant food, there is always Mcdonalds, Kentucky and Pizza Hut. Time Zone and Go Kart racing are nice and cheap and a good extra to give the kids after they have been dragging around with you for a couple of days. Kuta to us has everything, whereas if you want a nice quiet holiday, go to Nusa Dua or Sanur.
