Hi There.
The former "Kuta Palace" hotel now is Jayakarta Hotel.
Located at Jl.Rum Jungle - Legian.
Jayakarta Hotel is a GREAT Place, a cross from it used to be a french coffee shop call "topi koki". Go to Blue Ocean for GREAT massage.
Jayakarta to Blue Ocean Hotel Beach is only 5 minutes walk.
You can also take a walk to main st.(legian kaja) from there for less then 10 minutes. Many many shop around rum jungle rd. The local call it "art shop".
At night for some fun go to Double Six rd - take 10 to 15 minutes in walking distance. Go to GOA 2001 - Takes 15 to 20 minutes from Jayakarta Hotel. Okay....now you can go to "warung Jawa" near by that hotel. Next to it.....my place.
Do not worry about 'bemo' driver at night. They always there for you.!
