Lots of information on Bali Gardenia in the archives. The general impression is it is a very nice hotel and great value at the special rate with Bali Villas. However it is about a 25 min taxi ride to Kuta and there is nothing to do within walking distance. There is a free shuttle bus several times a day with the last bus back at around 6.00pm, so if you want to spend the evening you can go in the afternoon on the bus and return by cab. It is not expensive to us the taxis but it is not very convenient. Check our our website below to see what we thought of the Gardenia and see some photos.
