Oh, my sentiments exactly Paul. I too live in Victoria, just out of Melbourne. I'm always telling people who talk of the crazy drivers in Bali. Their way of driving is so logical. And obvious/logical road-rules. We seem to have so many rules & reg's. Not to mention the road rage, impatientness, intolerence (as you mentioned)and down-right pig-headedness. Wouldn't it be embarrassing to bring these Balinese to Australia to experience our roads and intolerence! To see these 'tourists' who they've come to know and welcome in their world and whom they treat like 'KING' in their country. Well I'd bet it would be a cultural awakening for them too........ they'd be running so fast back to their mother earth.
So to you Peter, enjoy your ride, just take your own helmet, theirs leave a bit to be desired.
