If, by some remote chance, you were serious - just remember hawkers and Bali go hand-in-hand, it's very much an accepted part of Bali to expect this when you travel. If you don't like it, don't do Bali, SIMPLE!! If you must do Bali, there are sooooo many places to go where there are no hawkers and I wonder why you wouldn't have checked them out! But then anyone who could possibly consider what you say you did, wouldn't consider experiencing the more culturely-adverse Bali. Aggressive hawkers - persistent hawkers more to the point. If you experience aggression then it was obviously a reflection of yourself. Take some advise on avoiding hawkers - no eye contact is best. Try this and you'll be surprised - aggression is not a solution!!!
