If you read the article in 'The Age - Good Weekend' a couple of years ago you wouldn't swim at any beach in Bali. One consultant to the United Nations said "This island will eventually disappear under a sea of crap if nothing is done soon". Don't get me wrong, I love the place, I just don't swim there.
