We stayed there for 6 nights at the end of January. It was ok but a bit out of the way. The only place to eat was the hotel restaurant or a short walk of about 100m to the beach and the seafood cafes. They were great but you can't eat every meal there so we used to get a taxi and go into Kuta for a meal and to shop. We had breakfast included with our package which was quite good in the hotel restaurant.
