I have just returned from 2 weeks in Bali. Currently there are two common illnesses. I am NOT a doctor. This is
my 2c worth, I think the most common illness is stomach pains/diarrhoea. Often it is only just annoying, but if not
treated or aggravated then the bugs can ruin your holiday. A visit to your doctor before your vacation is highly
recommended. Ask your doc for diarrhoea treatment information, because if you do nothing then its 7 out of 10
chance you will some symptoms. It has been said on this forum that a cheap preventative for US residents is Pepto-
Bismol. I could not get this in Australia/NZ so next trip I will try DDS-Acidophilus tablets, any comments?
The other illness is Flu (usually in wet season) or bad common colds, so ask your doc for Flu vaccine. Its
advisable if you suffer from asthma, bronchitis or other respiratory problems. Do not just rely on me, some links

Of course this is just my experience, anyone please add your comments. What about natural remedies, vitamins & minerals?
