We went on the white water rafting/elephant safari tour which cost about $95 for the day which included lunch. We had a fabulous time - it was a great day out. We went with a company called Bali Adventure Tours. They pick you up from your hotel and take you up to the Ayung River near Ubud for the white water rafting. There were about 100 of us that all went down the river together, racing each other and having a good laugh. Then lunch is provided at a restaurant then you are taken to the elephant park for a ride through the jungle. We also went on a tour in one of the villages and were shown around the family compounds and had a cooking lesson, which was great. The money we paid was well worth it as you get to see a different side of Bali, other than sitting on the beach or getting smashed.
