I need some information about hiking to the top of Mount Rinjani in Lombok. As far as I know, there are two routes up to the top: from north starting at Senaru and from east starting between Sembalun Lawang and Sembalun Bumbung. As the east route is said to be pretty shorter, I'm interested in this route and do have some questions:
1)Is there any accomodation in the Sembalu villages?
2)Are there any guides available in Sembalun?
3)Is the east-route easy to find and to follow?
4) How long does it take up to the top?
5) Is the route easy or hard to hike (any dangerous spots)?
6) At what elevation does the village of Sembalun be?

And - 2 questions to the north-route:
1) How far can you go by car? Until Senaru or further up?
2) How long takes the north route?

Thanx for your (hopefully) many replies. I appreciate!
