I've been 3 times in 18months &you get a bettere rate for cash than tc
most of the places you stay have safety deposit boxes & we've never
had trouble losing money where we've stayed.First time I took both
but last 2 times I've just taken cash. Just be aware of money changers &make sure you check it before you walk out, some have
a tendency to count it &then drop some down on to their lap.Also if possible ask for large notes eg.50,000rp it makes it a little easier for you, a small calulator also helps when shopping &changing money,
as the rate changes every day.
