My Balinese friends are starting to get worried about May, though they say there will be no unrest in Bali. The tourists are too important and it really isn't in their nature. There has already been some problems between the Christians and Muslims in Flores, though it's not in a tourist area. Bali should be good and if you talk to people and read Western news in Bali, you should be able to find out what's going on in Flores.
