we thought that it was going to be really cool to spend chrissy and new years in Bali. but where we stayed (Kuta) it wasn't as good as we thought. new years was chaos especially on Kuta Beach with crazy locals mobbing you (because we're tourists) and dangerous firecrackers crossed with fireworks flying in all directions. i heard it was much better in Gili Trawangan (Lombok).
