Began our stay with a delightful week spent at the luxurious Tunjung Bali villas in jl. Padma Utara, Legian. In the heart of the shopping and restaurant area of Legian , Kuta and Seminyak this little oasis consists of 6 well appointed villas secluded from the noise and bustle by a large restaurant and pool. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful and as the establishment is fairly small they were able to spend endless hours assisting us with everything from replacement passports ( that is another story! ) to French Restaurants ! 6 of us shared the 3 bedroom, 3 bath. Villa which came equipped with its own kitchen and marble living room and cost AUS229.00 p.n. The receptionists Ayu and Ketut also act as the switchboard so they will probably be able to field any other questions you might have on 62 361 756013.Shopping in the Kuta area is always exciting and the Animale shop in Kuta Square great for quality ladies clothes and accessories. Denpasar turned out to be the best place to find Name-brand clothing ranging from Ralph Lauren to Guess etc. The large shopping complexes of Tiara Dewata , Ramayana and the Matahari shop are all good one stop shopping venues. Tailors abound and their prices and quality vary. The prices are always negotiable but be sure to order goods well in advance of departure day to allow for adjustments. Beware the lack of changerooms you might find yourself changing between the sew.machines
