Hello, I find this a coincidece. I live in Tokyo and got back from Bali a week ago. I have been livinig in Tokyo for the past 5 months as my parents are the Ambssadors for my country for over a year.
I don'y know Hotel Nikko in the Narita Airporta. If you have a whole after noon and evening maybe you can see a bit of Tokyo. Narita is very far from Tokyo itself and it takes about 1 to 1 1/2 hours to get to there.
It is also a bit expensive. What ever you do, do not take a Taxi for you will pay about 150- 200 US just to get to Tokyo, (unless money isn't a problem) for a one way trip.
The best way to get to Tokyo, is by the Limo Bus that leaves Narita every 1/2 hour more or less. It costs 3000 Yen about 25 US per adult one way to get to Tokyo. Children is half price.
There are many details which I could give you but I think that for a 1 1/2 hout trip one way and 1 1/2 hour trip back paying over 100 US just to see Tokyo is not really worth it.
I don't think there is much to see or do in the Narita Area. I think there is a museum type complex that has to do something with Ninjas and Samurais, but I think the Hotel would be the best to set you up with that.
As for Bali, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. It's great. If you need good tips for a driver or any other information please let me know. (I don't know everything about Bali, but I do know some)
Take care and have fun in Bali, it's a great place...
