We stayed at the grand hyatt over christmas. We were lucky to stay
in the regency club with a sea view.We got the sea view confirmation
at the last minute.I think the regency is worth it for the extras.
You get complimentary breakfast in the morning from 7-10.You have
your own regency lounge and they serve complimentary tea and coffee
througout the day. This free coffee and tea also aplies if you are at the swimming pool as well. Then there are complimentary cocktails
from 5-7 which means you can drink and eat as much as you want.Ive
ordered a few bottles of beer and glasses of wine during the 5-7 period without any quibbles. You get light snacks as well but be careful not to get carried away as it might spoil your main meal. The
service is very good in the regency as well and the staff are very
friendly and quite helpfull. It is true that that wining and dining in the hotel is not cheap but you can walk across to the galleria shopping centre and have a meal there. There are countless restaurants
there where you can eat and drink a bit cheaper. The actaual regency
complex is very close to the beach and next door to the mee yan restaurant and also close to the other pools. This is a big hotel with
a big beach and a lot of pools,6 in total. To try a for a regency ocean
view call oka puranama. She is the reservations manager and she informed me of the ocean view room last minute.Just mention my name
nilesh raja.Or check out their website on www.hyattt.com and all the hotel info is on there.
If you have any more specific info you require do not hesitate to either email me or poest a message.
