Riley, the usual add-ons from Bali are Java to the west and Lembongan / Lombok (and further) to the east. Our trip in April has been shortened by a week or so because of our reluctance to go to Yogyakarta in Java. I have looked back on all our trips here, and only once have we not flown off the Yogya for a couple of days at least. This trip we are taking my sister, who has never been to Indonesia. She is absolutely DESPERATE to see Borobudor, Prambanan and other sights around that part of Java, but because of the political situation we have had to curtail that part of the trip. Now, we've been to Java on many occasions, but we don't want to feel unsafe especially with a newby. My suggestion to you would be to skip off to Lombok, Flores, Komodo or any other parts east and forget Indonesia (to the west).
If you haven't been to Bali before, believe me when I say that 2 months won't be near enough to see all that is Bali. There are still so many parts that I haven't been to yet.. . we'll hit a few more in April though!!
