I was told by a woman at Ansett that if one wants to pay for a Balinese to come to Australia, you should buy the ticket here on credit card. That way the ticket can only be redeemed as passage for the person it is made out to, or as a refund to the credit card. The price of a return flight Denpasar-Melbourne given by Ansett was virtually the same as was quoted us in Bali, as it has to be in $US - much, much more expensive than our return flights TO Bali.
