Sanur-Jimbaren is about 20 min to half hour along the good By-pass "freeway". Hail a light blue metered cab in Sanur (insist the driver turns on the meter), will cost 17-20KRp (around US$2.50). There are also metered orange cabs based in Sanur but these may have higher kilometrage rates, but only slightly??
Most of the restaurants (cafes) in Jimbaren will pickup for "free" but you're obliged to eat at the rest and whether this is best cost and convenience wise is arguable.
I prefer the cab to "arranged" transport for direct trips.. it's reliable and there are no 'strings attached' hassles
