Don't worry about safety. Bali is very safe. I wore jewellry
while I was there, nothing expensive. I did notice that when
I was bargaining, the women sometimes commented that I could
afford earrings while they could not. I think if you wore
anything expensive, then it may hamper your bargaining ability
a bit. Also don't wear any jewellry if you go to Ulu Watu, the
cheeky monkeys may decide to try to snatch it. Not to worry,
you will love Bali.
