The Indonesian newpapers have stated in January that the government has no money to deal with the Y2 problem. I plan to take United Airlines from San Francisco/Narita/Singapore and Singapore Airlines
from Singapore to Bali and return on December 25 to January 15. Are there any knowledgeable people or experts, (or web sites) that tell me what potentiable problems I may have. I figure I can eat fresh fish and fruit on the beach for two weeks and I will not be cold. I am concerned about fires that could result from the poor electricity and
problems with air traffic control, etc. Iam aware that everyone should hafe some cash as the money/banking system could fail.
