I have been doing some research in the archives and still have some questions.
1. Does anyone know whether mobile phones have a good reception in Ubud and around, as I will be there for two weeks?
2. Is it cheaper to use the mobile to call Aus. or a Wartel?
3. The cost of someone calling my mobile from Aus?
4. How much should transport from the airport to Kuta and Kuta to Ubud cost?
5. I have been reading a lot about Salon Milano and would like to have a bit of a pamper while I am away. However, two years ago I was in Ubud and went for a massage in a salon on Monkey Forest Road, but I cannot recall it's name, it was a few doors North of the Ubud Village Hotel and Cafe Wayan. It was a good massage until the masseur started to tell me what a wonderful body I have (not!!!) and that he is very attracted to white women and compared his brown hands to my white skin and what a good blend they would make while making love. He suggested he could offer more than a massage, so I laughingly asked him if he was trying to make a bit of extra money on the side, but he assured me he would do it for free. Trying to keep the situation light, I said he couldn't be interested in a married woman twice his size, however he assured me he was. Needless to say the massage was no longer relaxing, I didn't feel particularly threatened but was certainly very uncomfortable, so decided to end the massage. While I was in the shower rinsing off, he came in and went for the direct hit and tried to wash my girlie bits with a big soapy loofah. By now I was annoyed to say the least and ordered him to leave, which he did. This whole situation made me very angry, mind you I have dined out on the story since. Anyway, what I am getting at is; Does anyone know the name of this salon? I am hoping that it is not the famous Milano's because I would like to go there for the full treatment (without extras).
Thanks in advance
