We are going this summer july and august 1999, to Bali and Lombok again.This is our third trip to Bali.We always stay five weeks in Bali.
We (My wife and me), have stayed in Kuta in the Ramayana beach cottage's.You can find these also on internet.It is a very nice hotel in the middle of Kuta.Only 300 meters from the beach.It has very nice rooms,two swimming pools one big and one small.The staff is very friendly.You don't hear nothing from the noice of the street.Abig store Mata Hari is only 200 meters away.When you want to go to Ubud we have also a nice adress.It is Pertiwi or Nicks Pension.Both are very good in the middle of rice fields.
Also a nice trip is to go to Lovina .There it is very nice to go snorkling.
The price's there for everything are very cheap.
Eating in Kuta is to recommand in Jalan Bakungsarai in the KUTA PLAZA SEA FOOD RESTAURANT.Nice fish food.(very good and fresh)
From Tuban is it to far for a walk to the centre.They say it is ten minutes but it is half a hour.
I hope you have somethinh on this information and maybe till this summer you never knows.
