Whenever entering Indonesia it is a good idea to watch closely what goes on at the immigration counter. Always check that your pasport is stamped correctly with an entry date and or visa. An old trick that can catch you out is that when you want to leave and you try to go through immigration your passport has no date or visa!!! Funny thing....hmmmmmmm...."now I'm sure it was there before"
Anyway, there is always a record kept of your arrival so there is usually no problem, the immigration officer likes to demand and usually gets a cash donation for letting the unfortunate homecoming tourist through without a stamp. I should know. It happened to me.
