An acronym for Qantas coined in SEA is - "Quick And Nasty Typical Australian Service" Sure cabin staff can be rather direct and,sometime offhanded. But if the "icecream hits the fan"in flight, of all the airlines in the world, I would rather be on a QF flight.
As someone who prefers not to eat or drink on a 3.5 hour flight I will take QF (or AN) every time...
