Someone stated earlier in this months forum that acidophilus yoghurt will also do the trick, which is available readily in Bali. Also there is some sort of stomach tablet available at the supermarkets around Kuta (might be called SC's or similar) which I remember from previous trips. A Malaysian friend recommended Poi Chai pills to me here at home, available from Chinese grocery stores. The label says they will help with indigestion, the runs, alcoholism (hangovers) and various other ailmemts. They look like small rusty ball bearings and taste even worse, but the little buggers seem to work miracles at times. I intend to try to sneak some in , as I believe that Chinese medicines are not well accepted in Bali.
